Hello and Welcome!

My name is Emilia Gardner, and you can say that I am obsessed with building up a better than full-time income online.

I came across the concept of making money online through the various strategies available back in 2016, when I was working full time as an attorney in a law firm. I was good at my job, and enjoyed my clients, but disliked the lack of control I had over my life and my time. While I found the idea of making money online intriguing, I was too busy with my work at the time to explore.

However, an opportunity to take a break from the practice of law came in 2018, not long after my youngest child was born. I weighed my options carefully….stay with established career and excellent income…or, make the jump into a new world, risky but full of possibility.

I jumped.

Since then, I have been relentlessly trying new things (failing), learning from my mistakes (succeeding), and implementing what I have learned to build up multiple revenue streams using my computer and the internet.

So far, I have managed to build up enough revenue monthly to justify pursuing this full-time. But is it terrible that I want more?

Why Did I Start This Newsletter?

My goal (beyond making enough money to provide well for myself and my family), is freedom. I want to be able to have control over what I do every day, what I work on (or don’t), and when I do it.

But the journey can be lonely. There’s no water cooler to meet around here in my house. The people who are around don’t understand what I do (or why I do it). In fact, most people are skeptical, or conclude that there’s something wrong with my chosen lifestyle. (Why don’t you just go and get a real job?)

I decided to start this newsletter because I wanted to find the best way to connect with other people who are as obsessed as I am with time and financial freedom.

I am so passionate about building websites (as well as selling, flipping and investing in websites), creating and publishing YouTube videos, earning through display ad networks (like Adsense, Ezoic, and others), improving my skills to earn via affiliate offers and affiliate programs, building up my podcast, and so much more. I love talking about what I am working on with other people who are doing the same.

But don’t you already have a community on YouTube?

Yes, I do. In fact, I have spent the last year building a community of like minded people over on YouTube, but I have found that YouTube isn’t for everyone, and isn’t always the best place for me to share what I want to share either.

Sometimes, things are just better in writing.
